Kathy Darlene Peck, 61, of Ansted, passed away, Sunday, February 18, 2018, in Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Kathy was born January 30, 1957, at Turkey Creek in Ansted to the late Kenneth Howard and Joan Ermilee Dempsey Neal.
She was a Loving Wife, mother and grandmother, a member of the Antioch Baptist Church at Sugar Creek. She loved cooking, church activities, singing at church and enjoying her family. She had worked and Ansted Healthcare Center as a dietary aide.
Surviving is her husband Larry Peck; two daughters, Kelly Lopez and companion Demar Allen of Oak Hill, and Jennifer McClung and husband Eric of Ansted; one son, Derek Peck and companion Heather Arthur of Gauley Bridge; two sisters, Kay Shaulis and husband Jerry of Beckley, and Gay Wood and husband Allen of Victor; and 12 grandchildren. Her ex-son-in-law, Albino Lopez of Ansted, and ex-daughter-in-law, Mandi Peck of Jodie.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, February 22, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted, with Pastor Wade Samples officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memory Gardens at Victor. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Ansted.
